The first submarine drone of its kind, which can be purchased already today, the famous company Blue Robotics, called the drone - BlueROV2.
BlueROV2 has a compact size and is capable of dropping to a depth of 300 meters, depending on the length of the cable. Equipped with 6 powerful screws, thanks to which maneuvering is carried out.
Control of drones is carried out from a laptop, tablet, or any device using the QGroundControl application.
The drone is able to swim to a predetermined route on autopilot. Package includes two variants of video cameras - SD (700TVL) / HD (1920 × 1080p).
The manufacturer offers two options for the electronic filling of the drone:
Also, the buyer will need to choose the presence or absence of the autopilot mode (3DR PixHawk), one of the options for analog color television systems (PAL / NTSC), cable length (from 1, 25, 50, 75, 100, 150, 200, 250, 300 Meters) and the number of light sources Lumen Subsea Light (2 or 4 lamps). More information about the complete sets you can find on the official website of the manufacturer.
The first-person image is transferred from the drones to a computer with a delay of 200ms.
It is powered by BlueROV2 from a 4-can (4S) lithium-polymer battery 10000Man 14.8v 10C. The operating time of a drone on one battery is about one hour. But the developers assure that in the near future the droning time will be increased by installing more powerful batteries or by introducing a power cable into the cable itself.
Weight of the drone BlueROV2:
The weight of the drones in the air (with ballast) is 10 - 11 kg.
The weight of a drona in the air (without ballast) is 9-10 kg.
The total price of the BlueROV2 drone, depending on the set of options, varies from $ 2,445 to $ 4,518, you can safely say that the price tag for devices of this design is very low-budget.
